HalfShell Coil
Half Shell Coil, are two coils half circle used for parallel heating, each one using one output of the inverter. Used normally inside production factory or off-shore inside the pipe farming ship.
HalfSheel coils are produced according to the diameter of the pipe, normally up to 60”
This kind of machine is used also for heat the vessel pipe, for big size or very thick steel can be necessary use more Inverter machine in parallel for increase the efficiency and decrease the time.
We tested also during sub-merged arc welding and for FBE production.
FBE is a special painting use for anti corrosion instead of the plastic around the pipe, normally the special paint is apply in factory and for this application is necessary heat the pipe, the pipe is pushed along a rolling machine that roll the pipe and move the pipe inside the painting room, we use the Half Shell coil to pre-heat the pipe before the painting room.
